The spring piano recital this year turned out wonderful and I was extremely proud of all of the students who performed. It is always exciting to watch the students perform after a full year of hard word, dedication, and commitment to their art.
The youngest of students, ages 4 and 5 were adorable and they played their pieces beautifully and rhythmically. The older students did an amazing job and played their pieces with both feeling and great technique. I also had an adult student play Schumann as well as Kabalevsky, and he did a fantastic job.
Having an annual piano recital always requires a lot of preparation, but it is truly well worth it. As a piano teacher here in the Wellington, West Palm Beach area, my students always look forward to their annual recital with excitement and enthusiasm which really makes me very happy.
Teaching piano is a joy for me, and the annual recital always brings me me great inspiration, motivation, as well as true gratitude.
Thanks to all of the students who I teach. Each one of you is very special and unique. Thanks to all of the parents for your ongoing support and belief in me as your piano teacher! My appreciation for both students and parents is enormous and very significant. Thank you again!!

Piano lessons “Summer Sampler” is a great time for students of all ages to try out piano or keyboard lessons. My studio is in my home, and rates are very affordable.
There is no need to purchase a keyboard or piano for “Summer Sampler” piano lessons, however, having one can accelerate the process tremendously.
The summer is a great time to try out piano lessons, to see if learning piano is something that you would like to continue in the fall.
Experience summer piano lessons with an experienced and patient teacher. You will experience the joy of piano and have a fantastic musical experience.
Students ages 4 and up are welcome into the program.

I am always amazed at the ability of young children to be able to play the piano and actually focus for a full 30 minute lesson. Not all children at this age are able to start private piano lessons due to inability to sit still for the full half hour. A surprising number of students, however, actually do very well at sitting for a 30 minute lesson and enjoying it as well.
I find that the use of a supplementary CD with singing and full orchestration along with the students’ pieces can actually help facilitate the learning process as well as the enjoyment during the lesson. In addition, listening to the piece before actually performing the song helps the student with rhythmic coordination as well.
What I really love about teaching young students is that I get to see the student performing beautiful, more challenging pieces at ages 6 and 7 because they began their musical training much earlier.
As stated previously, not all students can start piano lessons at a very young age. This can only be determined through an initial interview, in addition to having a couple of lessons with the student to determine whether or not he or she is ready for formal lessons over time.

Piano Lessons Tequesta, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens
I just had a chance to speak to a lovely lady named Judy Rowley. She is a piano teacher who just moved to Tequesta from California a couple of months ago. She has been teaching piano for 30 years and left a full piano studio in California to be closer to her family here in Palm Beach County Florida.
Ms. Rowley and I spoke for quite some time, and she is extremely passionate about piano teaching and really enjoys working with beginners. She is an experienced professional who I highly recommend for potential students in North Palm Beach County.
She is currently building her piano studio in Tequesta, which is extremely close to the Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens area.
Ms. Rowley is a patient teacher, and truly loves piano teaching.
For more information about piano lessons by Ms. Rowley, you can call her to inquire at your convenience.

Piano Recital 2009
The piano recital on May 31st 2009 was magnificent. The student performed beautifully and were all dressed to the hilt! The weather was beautiful, and the day could not have been better.
This is a photo from the 3pm recital as one of my student’s fathers is an excellent photographer. Next year I will try to have a group picture for all 3 groups!
The students at the recital played a variety of music from classical to jazz and also played duets with me as well.
The families of all of the students were so proud to see their children perform in front of an audience. I was also so very very proud of my piano students as well, as they all worked so hard for the previous 3 months prior to the recital.
What a great journey……:)
Way to go students!!

Piano Teacher Wellington Florida

I am looking to start a pre-school program in the early mornings for youngsters interested in learning piano before school. I will open my studio in the morning for 7:30 am and 8 am lessons on weekdays.
I have had some wonderful success with pre-schoolers starting piano at a young age. Through use of a special teaching method geared toward pre-school children, I have students reading music as early as 5 years old.
If you live in the Wellington, Royal Palm Beach or West Palm Beach area, please do not hesitate to call me if you have any interest in this program.

Thank you for visiting my blog. As a piano teacher here in Wellington/West Palm Beach Florida I would like for all of you to know what my teaching style and philosophy is.
I have been teaching piano for over 10 years, and I have learned that patience is a virtue and necessity in teaching this instrument.
Many students learn at different paces, and some students are more visual learners and some are more auditory based learners.
In addition, some of my students have learning disabilities or attention problems. This seems to be more and more common nowadays.
If I could say anything about my teaching style, it would be patient, enthusiastic, and encouraging.
I give students praise for things he or she does positively, because I truly believe in the concept of positive reinforcement.
One of my most important goals when a student leaves their piano lesson is to feel happy, positive, and encouraged.
I like to see the student smile when they leave my piano studio. At that point, I know I have done my job!

This is a photo of the annual Spring Recital in 2008. I hold the recital in the clubhouse near my home in Wellington Florida, in Palm Beach County. The students always look forward to their annual recital because it gives them a chance to display their talents and all they have learned by taking lessons throughout the year.
The students usually begin preparing for their recital a few months before the performance so they are prepared to give a good, confident performance.
